The first international horticultural exhibition was held in Germany in 1869. Shortly afterwards, many similar events followed all over the country. In 1951, the idea of a national horticultural show was born in Hanover, which from the outset was intended to be a showcase for the horticultural trade and a driving force for urban development.
Since 1951, the biennial BUGAs and the decennial International Horticultural Exhibitions (IGAs) have been an integral part of cultural life.

In 2024, sustainable urban development will also be at the forefront. The historic old town of Wangen is now connected to the former ERBA industrial site. 400 new apartments have been built. The renaturalised banks of the river Argen, four new playgrounds and numerous events provide plenty of leisure activities for young and old.
We are proud to have made a significant contribution to the design of the Horticultural Show in Wangen im Allgäu. With a large number of Landi variants, we've created many cosy seating areas that invite you to linger and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
As well as the classic Landi bench, there are round and curved benches, loungers, high-backed benches and stools. Each piece of furniture combines comfort and timeless aesthetics and has been made in our workshop with the utmost care and precision.
